USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The Research Assistant supports the laboratory research efforts of the Sousounis laboratory in the department of Molecular, Cellular, and Biomedical Sciences, contributing to general laboratory and animal room operations as well as ongoing scientific investigations through experimental design, data collection and sample preparation. Working closely with the principal investigator and students, the Research Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that experiments are conducted accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with established protocols and safety regulations. This position requires attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic laboratory environment.
