Overview Chief Engineer (TYAFB-2025-23822): ***Position is contingent on contract award*** Bowhead Marine Support Services seeks a Chief Engineer for the operation and maintenance of a 120' Missile retriever and other small craft in direct contractor support of the 53rd Weapons Group, 82nd Aerial Target Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, Tyndall, FL. Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain the 120' Missile Retriever main engines and propulsion equipment in direct support of the 82 ATRS missions which range from harbor operations to open ocean operations within 200nm of the Panama City Sea Buoy. - Conduct, assist and supervise the preventative, corrective, predictive maintenance and repairs or modifications to suit mission requirements. - Shall have extensive experience, knowledge, and confident skills as a vessel engineer and be able to plan work packages for planned maintenance availabilities, shipyard periods and urgent repairs. - Proficient at following instructions for planned maritime operations and understanding military communications.
