OVERVIEW: A Civil Project Engineer - SUE you will work with project teams in the development and completion of Sub-Surface Utility Engineering (SUE) projects, working directly with both office and field staff, ensuring projects remain within budget and on schedule. You have a degree in Civil Engineering, at least 3 years of professional experience and are registered in Texas as a Professional Engineer. YOUR DAY-DAY WILL INCLUDE: - Work with the project team to create an action plan for the development and project completion of assigned Sub-Surface Utility Engineering projects, ensuring projects remain within a specified budget and schedule. - Interact and work directly with field and office staff. - Research experience with as-built record drawings from utilities as required for use in project designs preferred. - Balance multiple tasks on multiple projects. - Collaborate with Project Managers to identify and troubleshoot problems. - Coordinate with other SUE departments when necessary. - Participate in site visits, agency meetings, and municipal meetings as needed. - Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time. - Move around the office including movement between floors and works...
