Job description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Referral, intake and admission of clients. Crisis intervention. Record keeping including charts and log book . Process discharged clients. Oversee custodial needs of in-house clients such as laundry and assisting in maintaining an orderly and clean environment. Assist with preparation of meals when necessary. Leading groups and related duties as assigned. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. HOURS: Full-time 37.5 hours per week QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma or GED required - CPR Certification or the ability to obtain certification required. - NYC Fire Safety Guard Certification or the ability to obtain certification required. - NYC Fire Safety Coordinator Certification preferred; employees must be willing to attempt to acquire certification. - Security guard license preferred; employees must be willing to attempt to acquire license. - Food Handler Certificate preferred; employees must be willing to attempt to acquire certification. - TB clearance when required. - Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness preferred; effectively communicate with others both in writing and orally; ability to maintain professional...
