Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer III to play a crucial role leading the development and launch of high voltage components for automotive and industrial applications. This role owns product designs from concept through production release, operates with limited direction, and makes independent engineering decisions to meet performance, safety, cost, and manufacturability requirements. Key Responsibilities: Lead engineering design, development, validation, and production release of high voltage components, including busbars, wire harnesses, and BDUs. Support and interpret FEA analysis (thermal, mechanical, Moldflow) to validate designs and guide decisions. Apply materials and manufacturing knowledge, with emphasis on copper conductors, metal stamping, and 3D bent copper busbars. Develop detailed models and drawings using CATIA, CREO, or UG, applying GD&T per industry standards. Partners cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and suppliers to support launch and ongoing production.
