Pre-Production Clerk (6 Month Temporary Assignment)

Job description

Shift: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM Pay: $18.00 an hour: Primary Duties: Receives incoming frames, tracings, tint samples, etc. electronically and routes them accordingly Verify information provided by account and edit/correct if necessary and in accordance with appropriate guidelines Maintain neatness of workstation: Use a computer to log frames to applicable trays/orders Receive incoming deliveries: Secondary Duties: Assist Tracers when necessary: Cross-train and help in other areas of the department as needed and as directed by Supervisor Education: High School Diploma or GED required One-year certification from college/technical school OR two years directly related maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Optical experience in tracing, blocking, edging and final inspecting a plus but not required Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods Occasionally required to stop, kneel, crouch or crawl Frequent hand manipulation, reach with hands and arms and tactile operations Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, 50 pounds on occasion Occasionally required to use stools or ladders to reach high shelvin...
