Department: 34415 Carolinas Medical Center - LCH: Nursing: Med Surg 7A Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: - 3 12-hour shifts per week; 7p – 7a - Weekend and Holiday requirements Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work: The LCH 7A General Pediatric Unit is a 15-bed general pediatric unit. We see ages ranging from newborn to 18 and care for a wide variety of diagnosis including respiratory, gastrointestinal, surgical, endocrine and many more. Our unit prides ourselves on working well together while caring for the most precious little ones and their families! Expectations We’re Looking For: - Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing - Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new graduates. - Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association - PALS certification is required within 6 months of hire. - Pediatric or hem/onc inpatient experience preferred.
