Department: Safety Services: Shift/schedule: Full Time (Salaried): GENERAL SUMMARY: Works under the supervision of the Manager of Worksite Safety and Emergency Management. The Emergency Management is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing emergency preparedness activities to support the healthcare organization enterprise –wide. This position plays a key role in maintaining readiness for Joint Commission surveys, leading multidisciplinary teams in preparedness efforts, and ensuring that all documentation and processes meet regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in collaboration across departments. Education: · High School Diploma or equivalent high school exam required · Associate’s degree required—Bachelor’s degree preferred in emergency management, homeland security, or healthcare administration.
