Description Summary: The Duchesne Academy Charger Girls Dance Team Assistant Coach plays a pivotal role in the academic and extracurricular experience of our students. Guided by the Goals and Criteria of the Society of the Sacred Heart, the coach is responsible for leading and assisting the Charger Girls Dance Team, providing technical training, and fostering a positive, competitive environment. The ideal candidate will not only have a strong background in competitive dance and choreography but also possess a nurturing spirit and a deep commitment to inspiring dancers, fostering the sisterhood of the team, and helping each athlete, and the team, reach their full potential. Primary Responsibilities: - Assist with coaching the Upper School Charger Girls Dance Team throughout the school year, including practice planning, performance preparation, and athlete development. - Collaborate with the Charger Girls Head Coach on event scheduling, costuming, program development, and organizing pep rallies. - Handle administrative tasks such as communication with Charger Girls Head Coach, the Athletics Department, parents, and athletes. - Participate in seasonal planning meetings and check-ins w...
