They are responsible for overseeing all processes related to the screening, interviewing, and recruitment of potential MSTP matriculants through the annual admissions cycle. This cycle typically runs from September through May with occasional meetings during other times in the academic year. The Chair collaborates with the MSTP Director to develop policies with the aim of ensuring that the MSTP consistently matriculates motivated, high-performing applicants who are committed to research-focused careers.
