The Associate Electric Transmission Engineer supports the planning, design, and maintenance of electric transmission systems, including both overhead and underground lines. This role involves close collaboration with crossfunctional teams and active participation in a growing organization to help meet project goals, schedules, and quality standards. The position requires utility experience, preferably in electric transmission, or equivalent transmission experience within the private sector. Core Responsibilities: - Support high voltage overhead transmission projects through all phases, including concept development, design, and construction. - Assist with high voltage overhead transmission maintenance, repair, and replacement initiatives. - Support high voltage underground transmission projects, including performing required engineering calculations. - Review third party designs and calculations to ensure compliance with Company safety, quality, and environmental standards. - Conduct construction site visits as needed; prepare sketches, field notes, and formal field reports. - Safely operate Company vehicles in accordance with all safety and security requirements. - Communicate pro...
