Reports To: Logistics Manager Hours: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Hourly Rate: $22.50: SUMMARY: Oversee Shipping Department activities using the most cost effective methods possible while meeting customer delivery expectations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement, maintain and support all company policies and procedures. Provide training as necessary. Conduct shift overlap meeting with on-coming shift Supervisor to minimize errors. Coordinate forklift operators in daily routine of loading trailers according to customer specifications. Schedule deliveries using the most cost efficient, and time saving manner possible while still meeting customer expectations. Coordinate and communicate with Customer Service concerning delivery of product to customers. Accurately prepare bills of lading. Review forklift inspection sheets daily and prepare maintenance work orders for needed repairs. Ensure warehouse management properly maintained/stocked. Perform warehouse inventory, audit control, and management oversight Additional duties as assigned by management.
