Job Summary: Coordinates patient flow, prepares patients for examinations with a focus towards excellent customer service and assists with a variety of office based procedures. Further, role will support administrative functions of the office as needed. Job Description: Essential Responsibilities: Greets patients and escorts them from the waiting room to the proper examination room. Maintains patient flow so that surgeon is seeing patients on a timely basis. Evaluates patients by determining the reason for the visit and documents a brief history and appropriate vital signs that may include height, weight, blood pressure, pulse and temperature. Prepares patients for exam per the individual surgeon protocol. Accompanies and assists the surgeon with exam, as necessary. Assists surgeon with procedures, applies dressing and bandages, provides wound care under the supervision of the surgeon. Cleans and stocks examination rooms, ensuring that all exam rooms have adequate inventory of necessary supplies. Monitors supply levels and replenishes as necessary. Maintains equipment an...
