POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in preparing, packaging, delivering and charging of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. General Functions: MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent; accredited training in sterile products preparation. - Accurately fills medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner. - Assures all medications are checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing. - Responds appropriately to requests for STAT orders, routine orders, department requests and ADC stock out bulletins. - Refills emergency crash carts, boxes and kits accurately and timely. - Accurately stock ADCs in a timely manner. - Prepackages and labels oral medications and extemporaneous preparations. - Prepares IV sterile admixture solutions and IV products accurately consistent with IV policies and procedures. - Restocks medications in IV room and conforms to IV cleaning schedule - Performs distribution duties and adhere to pharmacy technician operational workflow and delivery schedule - Interprets medication labe...
