Senior Communications Officer Location – Parramatta – 50% Hybrid Full time temporary opportunity until 31 December 2026 (35 hours per week) Salary from $129,464 to $142,665 pa. + super and annual leave loading This position is open to Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only. Your role: The Senior Communications Officer will plan, create, deliver and evaluate communications activities that align with the Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO’s) strategy. This includes the development and implementation of creative external and internal communications across the AHO. What you’ll do: - Design, implement and coordinate communications activities that help the AHO communicate with its diverse communities, including tenants and Aboriginal Community Housing Providers (ACHPs). - Work in partnership with creative organisations to develop communications underpinned by representation and self-determination. - Look for opportunities to review communications content (across all platforms) and introduce new frameworks including cultural protocols. - Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate important external and internal events, including event planning and on-day...
