Background: UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. The Executive Director’s Office provides strategic leadership, institutional oversight, and coordination across UN Women to ensure effective delivery of its mandate. A key priority of the Office is to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct across all operations and personnel. Strengthening ethical culture and reinforcing institutional trust are central to safeguarding UN Women’s credibility and effectiveness in delivering for women and girls globally.
