Status Full-Time Standard Hours per Week: 40 Job Posting Category: Social Services: Job Posting Description: Position Summary/Department Summary: Boston Children’s Hospital’s acclaimed Social Work Emergency Psychiatry Services (EPS) team responds to social needs and issues in the Emergency Department and throughout inpatient services. We are seeking a full-time clinical coordinator social worker to join our EPS team! Key Responsibilities: - Supervisory oversight of a number of EPS social workers in the ED in consultation with the social work manager. - In collaboration with the social work manager, this position will participate in programmatic development and will support the implementation of program initiatives within the assigned service area. - Serves as a primary liaison with the multidisciplinary team regarding clinical concerns or case practice decisions and will escalate quality assurance issues, and thematic trends to leadership as needed. - Provides direct clinical care and coordination of services for assigned patients. - Coordinates patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. - Monitors patient progress and adjusts care plans as appropriate. - Man...
