Your Contribution As a Mechanical Engineer – Heavy Duty Diesel Pistons Operations reporting to the Head of Heavy-Duty Diesel Productions you will be responsible to develop and test machinery and equipment under direction of engineering and scientific staff. This role is responsible to: - Develop and write task analysis, cost analysis and proposals for implementation of new processes or improvements to existing processes. - Selects or designs parts and tooling to meet customer specifications and expectations. - Work closely with line personnel to ensure newly developed parts and tooling are correctly installed and functioning properly. - Confer with established personnel to implement standard operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions. - Develop, plan and model alternate processing methods to test feasibility of new applications of system components, and recommend implementation of improved procedures, process improvements and/or set-up reduction techniques. - Develops and conducts related equipment training programs and demonstrates skills to trainees (serves as a mentor or coach to established personnel. - Prepares charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, rou...
