St. Ignatius Parish, Hickory, located in Forest Hill, MD , seeks candidates for a Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation . The Director of Evangelization and Faith Formation is a member of the Pastoral Staff and reports to the Pastor. The position will be responsible for Evangelization, Adult Faith Formation, and oversee Children’s and Youth Faith Formation. The mission will be to invite and assist people to grow in faith, find their place in the church and help form committed disciples. This is a benefit eligible position working full time. Essential Functions: - Develop creative approaches to evangelization, faith formation, and spiritual enrichment, and work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers, including those involved with Family Faith Formation, Youth Ministry, OCIA, Baptism Preparation, Marriage Preparation, Liturgy, and other adult programs to facilitate spiritual growth in Catholics and non-Catholics searching for more in their faith-life. - Work with the Pastor and lay leaders to assure the implementation of the Parish Vision to be a source of Spiritual, Moral and Social growth for the parish and the surrounding communities, including hospitality initia...
