Apartment Maintenance Technician

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, HVAC-certified Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Memphis, Tennessee. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, rotating weekends on-call, overtime as needed Responsibilities include: - HVAC and appliance installation and repair - Plumbing and electrical repair - Lock installation, repair, and re-keying - Preventive maintenance - Make-ready - Daily documentation of work performed - Following company and OSHA safety policies Requirements: MUST HAVE: - HVAC certification (Universal preferred) - 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience - Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices - Physical ability to perform assigned tasks - General knowledge of applicable building codes / laws - Ability to complete required documentation - High school diploma or equivalent - Reliable vehicle suitable for maintenance work - Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance - Ability to pass credit, background, and drug screenings NICE TO HAVE: - Strong organization and time-management skills - Strong customer service skills - Ability to work in both residential and commercial settings Benefits: - Competitive salary with fuel allowance...
