Technicians usually perform routine tasks to help prepare prescribed medication, such as counting tablets and labeling bottles. Qualifications: Responsibilities: - Registered with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy - Possesses strong communication skills - Must be compassionate and patient attentive - Excellent customer service skills - Must be proficient with basic computer skills - Provides teamwork and positive oriented attitude and flexibility - Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment - Highly reliable - Pharmacy technician experience preferred - Accepting new prescriptions from patients - Accepting new prescriptions orally from physician offices - Call physician offices for prescription renewals, documenting all responses - Prescription data entry - Resolution of reimbursement issues - Prescription and controlled substance bottle filling - Simple rou...
