Campus Safety Officer - 2nd Shift

Widener University is currently seeking a full-time 2nd Shift Campus Safety Officer. This position works both indoors and outdoors, averaging 40 hours per week, with shifts from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. The position reports directly to the on-duty Lieutenant. Campus Safety Officers are responsible for responding promptly and effectively to calls for service, protecting University property and assets, enforcing University policies and regulations, and promoting positive community engagement through respectful, customer-focused interactions. Reporting directly to the Campus Safety Lieutenant, the Campus Safety Officer plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all members of the University community. This full-time role averages 40 hours per week, with scheduled hours from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and includes both indoor and outdoor responsibilities.
