Job description

SUMMARY: Provide hands-on training, supervision, and leadership for the assembly, inspection and test of magnetic bearings and related products. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Provide guidance, training and support for production technicians, assign tasks and ensure adherence to procedures and schedules. Monitor daily activities, track output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet goals. Provide production communications and data as required. Direct daily production flow. Ensure materials are stocked, coordinate equipment needs and assist with staffing/scheduling. Responsible for understanding and complying with the safety policy, procedures, and instructions in order to ensure a safe work environment. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and orderly workplace. Responsible for understanding and complying with the quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being.
