Description The Department of Neurology at the Yale School of Medicine seeks to hire a Neurohospitalist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to complement our inpatient services at Greenwich Hospital. Rank will be based on education and experience. Neurohospitalists evaluate and treat the whole spectrum of neurological disorders in the emergency department, the general medical and surgical floors, and the medical and surgical intensive care units. We anticipate faculty applicants to be dedicated to excellence in patient care and educating the next generation of subspecialty experts. The position offers applicants an exciting opportunity for individual programmatic development and goal discovery across varied clinical or academic interests within our department. The full-time neurohospitalist position includes 24 weeks (Monday – Sunday) on the inpatient consultation service. Schedule modifications (combination of 5- and 7-day work weeks; combination of inpatient service and ambulatory general or subspecialty practice) may be possible based on the candidate’s interest.
