Job DetailsJob Location: Children Square Campus - Council Bluffs, IA 51503Residential Youth Care Specialist - PMIC (Psychiatric Medical Institute for Children) Pay: $22/hr plus a $2 PMIC differential added = $24/ Hour Location: 520 N 7th St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503 (Children’s Square Campus) Someone who: Has a positive and reliable work ethic Brings patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Can provide daily supervision and structure Enjoys teaching and mentoring youth through positive role modeling High school graduate or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred) Experienced in childcare, youth services, or related fields Able to manage crisis situations and maintain therapeutic relationships Skilled in teamwork, documentation, and communication Bonus Points: Experience with emotionally or behaviorally challenged youth Training in CPR, first aid, or Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Leadership or mentoring experience with staff or youth About CSI: Our story begins in Omaha in 1892, when, due to epidemics, poverty and the difficulties of pioneer life, many children were left in need of parental care.
