Per Diem, Nights Position Summary: A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for the delivery of nursing supportive patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. A Unit Support Technician is responsible and accountable for assisting the RN in the provision of patient care and tending to the unit needs as assigned by the RN. - Ensures safe transportation of patients and specimens according to department policy and procedures on a daily basis as assigned by nursing team - Maintains department equipment and organization of supply room - Maintains and organizes cleanliness and organization of patient rooms - Demonstrates good communication skills. - Utilizes appropriate interpersonal skills as outlined in the Standards on Conduct and in accordance with customer service initiatives. EDUCATION: - Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent EXPERIENCE: - Previous healthcare experience preferred.
