Labcorp is seeking a Senior Immunohistochemistry Scientist to join our team at Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday – 37hrs Job Responsibilities: - Cryotomy of frozen tissues using the latest motorised cryostats - Immunohistochemical staining using a combination of methods and processes - Empirical staining of tissue sections using a range of techniques - The development and use of anatomy skills to identify and trim tissue samples from a range of animal species - Microscopic quality control of tissue sections - Immunohistochemistry method development and project management - Precise labelling of samples and accurate recording of data - Undertaking cross-training initiatives within other areas across Safety Assessment Minimum Qualification s: - Degree in Biomedical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology or Biosciences Additional Job Standards: Labcorp are a global, world-leading Life Sciences Contract Research Organization that provides dedicated and fully comprehensive laboratory testing and drug development services to the pharmaceutical industry.
