Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Position Purpose Responsible for management and coordination of safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals through their proper storage, handling, evaluation, preparation, compounding, labeling and dispensing in conjunction with state and federal regulations and departmental policies in the areas they oversee. Maintains proper records, documentation and provides complete communication as appropriate. Follows department guidelines with regard to clinical interventions and provides drug information as required and/or requested and helps ensure staff is doing the same. Provides daily supervision to pharmacy technicians. Assists Manager in daily workflow and organization of department in order to ensure efficient operations.
