Title: HVAC/R Technology Instructor- Jackson Campus Employee Classification: Faculty: Institution: TCAT-Jackson: Department: HVAC/R: Campus Location: TCAT Jackson: Job Summary: - Facilitate the classroom instructional process: develop, plan, and prepare a complete progressive course of study, lesson plans, assignments, and instructional aids; maintain attendance and grade records; monitor conduct, safety, and discipline during training. - Remain current within the instructional field and technologies, attend scheduled professional development activities, and update plans to meet professional requirements. - Continuously meet standards to maintain HVAC Excellence program accreditation. - Visit area employers and assist with the placement of students in the workforce. - Participate in recruiting and evaluating students for programs. - Participate in professional development activities, including cooperating with outside agencies and program advisory committees; conduct two committee meetings annually.
