Job description

Position Summary: Plans, coordinates, and directs the Nursing staff, ensuring that the system of care meets all Federal, State, and local regulations. Has 24 hour responsibility for nursing care of all residents through the performance of the Nursing personnel. Responsible for providing a system of care for residents in a manner and environment that promotes maintenance and enhancement of each resident's quality of life and provides dignity and respect in full recognition of each resident's individuality. Establishes policies, procedures, objectives and work performance standards while directing the Nursing personnel in a manner which ensures quality resident care.
