Job Overview: This position reports to the Environmental, Safety, Health, Quality, and Training Manager in support of APTIM's nuclear decommissioning (D&D) project in West Mifflin, PA. Engineers will be a part of a multi-disciplined team supporting our projects and will be focused on supporting safety activities on site. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: - The Safety Professional will be responsible for the implementation of EHS policies and procedures - Ability to interpret and apply OSHA standards - EHS surveys and audits, maintain EHS documentation - Collect and analyze EHS metrics - Conduct accident investigations, participate in the safety committee. - Provide safety field oversight of production personnel involved in radiological and RCRA D&D activities. Basic Qualifications: - The position requires a minimum of eight years of safety and industrial hygiene experience with a Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, industrial engineering or related field of study required, and working knowledge of OSHA Construction Industry standards. - CSP, CIH, CHMM or equivalent certification preferred. - Experience in the fields of construction, demolition, remediation, asbestos abat...
