Employment Type: Full-Time FSLA: Hourly/Non-Exempt: Division: Riggs: Department: Riggs: R eports to: Labor Foreman / Project Manager Supervisory Duties: No: Salary Range: $25 - $32/hour: Carpenters are responsible for designing, building, installing, and repairing structures, fixtures, furniture, and other items using a variety of materials, including wood, steel, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. This role requires precision, physical strength, and the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures. Responsibilities / Essential Functions: - Perform work efficiently, safely, and accurately to consistently meet production goals set by the Foreman, Superintendent, or Project Manager. - Prepare project layouts and accurately estimate height, width, length, and other necessary dimensions. - Read and interpret blueprints or instructions from supervisors. - Select appropriate materials for each task, including wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall. - Use hand and power tools such as chisels, planes, saws, drills, and sanders to construct, install, and repair structures. - Join materials using nails, screws, staples, or adhesives. - Work at various heights using ladders, s...
