Nuclear Security Officer - Plant Farley, Columbia, AL As an Armed Nuclear Security Officer (NSO) at Plant Farley near Dothan, AL, you’ll be part of a highly trained security force dedicated to safeguarding our people, our plant, and the surrounding communities. Your mission is critical: Protect personnel and nuclear reactor systems, defend against radiological sabotage and security threats, and prevent threat or misuse of nuclear materials. Working in this high-security environment requires exceptional mental focus and physical readiness. Every day, you’ll stand prepared to deter and defeat the industry’s Design Basis Threat (DBT) - the standard used across the nation to define the most severe challenges a nuclear site must be able to withstand. Summary of Position Duties: The Nuclear Security Officer (NSO) reports to the Shift Lieutenant and supports daily shift activities which maintain site physical security.
