Job Type Full-time Description: Northern Concrete is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Total Station Operator to join our construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accurate layout and construction of our projects. Your primary responsibilities will include operating surveying instruments, coordinating field data, and maintaining a high level of precision throughout the construction process. Responsibilities: - Layout construction sites for the installation of footings, walls, and flatwork. - Assist wall crews in the accurate placement of anchor bolts and reinforcement of walls and footings. - Check elevation/verify with plans and set heights. - Perform various administrative duties. - Review all plans. - Load field data into the computer. - File jobs. - Relay information from the field to Supervisor and CAD department. - Create accurate field notes for use in job binders. - Maintain inventory on van. - Adjust and operate surveying instruments such as prisms. - Compile information necessary to stake projects for construction, using engineering plans. - Position and hold the vertical rods or targets. - Search for section corners, property irons,...
