Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail oriented; customer service focused Imaging Coordinator III - IR Scheduler to join our Imaging Team! The Imaging Coordinator Level 3 (Imaging Coordinator Level 1 Lead) functions as a healthcare worker who, working under the authority of the Imaging Patient Access Supervisor, serves as a medical imaging professional who is responsible for assuring that clerical duties are accurately performed to assist the department with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Imaging Coordinator Level 3 (Imaging Coordinator Level 1 Lead) activities are performed consistent with their education and training, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures and applicable professional standards. - Performance of Imaging Coordinator Level 3 (Imaging Coordinator Level 1 Lead): Under the supervision of the Imaging Patient Access Supervisor, is responsible for overseeing and assuring that clerical duties are accurately performed in completion of, but not limited to, the following areas: performs professional, efficient, and accurate scheduling of patient exams in multiple imaging modalities (CT, MR, US, XR, FL, DXA, Interventional); contacts referr...
