Quality Supervisor

Job description

Position Reports to: Position reports to the Quality Manager and interfaces with Plant Management, Production, Shipping, Purchasing and Corporate R&D. Position Responsibilities: - Supervises lab personnel and functions relating to the performance and execution of lab tests to produce reliable data ensuring products conform to known company and customer standards. - Supervises the performance of various tests to produce reliable and precise data to support production requirements. - Ensures that lab personnel perform routine tasks accurately and follow strict methodologies to carry out analyses. - Confirms proper preparation of specimens and samples by lab personnel. - Interprets results obtained by lab personnel and relays to Plant Management. - Must be available for 24/7 plant support. - Prepares weekly and or monthly summaries covering the quality system, test data and other information regarding product quality for Quality Manager, Plant Management, and other operations personnel. - Performs other duties as required.
