Electrical Engineer Fibertek, Inc. is a leading developer of laser and electro-optic systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to lasers for atmospheric sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our division at Herndon, VA to contribute to the development of products in our R&D division. Your Job: The successful candidate will work on small teams to develop, verify, and upgrade the electronics i􏰀 Fibe􏰁􏰂ek􏰃􏰄 elec􏰂􏰁􏰅 -optical systems. The workload will include a wide range of engineering tasks including circuit board development, firmware (FPGA & CPU) development, cable/harness design, documentation (design docs, test reports, etc.), board and system level integration and testing/troubleshooting, and analysis. The workload will at times include multiple concurrent projects, with a mix of small, short, quick-turn projects and larger, longer term projects.
