Department: 36913 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Electrophysiology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. Hours generally 0700-1730with potential for extended hours periodically. Must be actively enrolled in classes for radilogy technology Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities: - Supports imaging technologists with preparation of patient and examination room prior to, during, and following imaging procedures in accordance with established infection control practices. Organizes and prepares exam rooms and work areas, including cleaning, stocking, and maintaining equipment. - Verifies patient identification using two identifiers and communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients' understanding and address any questions about the imaging procedure. - Assists patient in preparation for exam and transferring patients to and from exam rooms.
