POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The incumbent is primarily responsible for troubleshooting MEP systems for all Harper Limbach customers. This person quickly and efficiently diagnoses problems, communicates the scope of effort out to customers, and identifies the most cost-effective and timely solution to resolve the issue. Base hourly rate of $22/hr - $41/hr KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Diagnoses problems within building systems, and either resolves or escalates them as appropriate. - Utilizes HVAC diagnostic equipment to identify systems issues. - Reviews blueprints and specifications to determine work details and procedures. - Leverages knowledge of building plans to inspect structures and locate key serviceable items. - Keeps records of assignments and produces detailed work reports to ensure all billing is accurate. - Works directly with customers to develop solutions to all concerns, issued in order of magnitude. - Upsells on-going maintenance contracts to non-contract customers, when appropriate. - Employs specialized techniques, equipment, and materials to accelerate the diagnostic process. - Directs apprentices engaged in any type of repairs, and coaches them in the proper m...
