HCTs are provided specialized training and education to work with this patient population. Utilizing an innovative care delivery model and electronic documentation technology, the DRN, working remotely, accesses, assesses and identifies the client's immediate care needs and using the collaborative approach model immediately provides the appropriate direction to the on-site HCT to provide the direct care, resulting in real time provision of care services.
