ServiceNow Software Engineer (Custom Development Focus | Remote)

Job description

Responsibilities Responsibilities: - Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications using App Engine Studio and/or traditional scoped application development - Build solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality, including custom modules, data models, and platform extensions - Clone, extend, and customize existing ServiceNow modules to meet customer-specific requirements - Develop workflows, automation, and integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, third-party platforms) - Write, test, and debug ServiceNow scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer) - Develop custom UI components (UI Pages, UI Actions, Service Portal elements) - Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices - Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions, including researching and adapting platform capabilities as needed - Collaborate with developers and team members within an Agile/DevSecOps environment (stories, estimation, lightweight ceremonies) - Work independently on development tasks and progress assigned work items through completion - Maintain and apply knowledge of ServiceNow data structures...
