Job description
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes to load and unload materials. - Manage inventory through accurate tracking and control using warehouse management systems (WMS). - Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders promptly. - Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe working environment. - Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. - Assist the carpentry department when needed; assist with kitchen cabinets carpentry, and build sturdy crates for shipping heavy products. - May handle electric saws, nail guns and some other hand tools, for tasks as cutting lumber. - Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy in stock levels. - Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve efficiency. - Utilize RF scanners for tracking inventory movements within the warehouse. - Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper materials handling techniques are followed. - Participate in packaging operations to prepare products for shipment.
