Job Details: This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday--start time from 4:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Times may vary.) Starting Pay: $17.15/hr: Tasks: Must be able and willing to learn safe, efficient operation of hatchery machinery. Must be willing and able to fix minor issues with hatchery machinery. Must be willing and able to clean hatchery machinery. Must be willing and able to load/remove baskets and trays weighing 10 lbs. to 15 lbs. from machines. Must be willing and able to bend and lift a minimum of 30 lbs. from 6” high to 5’6” high repetitively. Must be willing and able to push/pull buggies of eggs weighing up to 500 lbs. Must be willing and able to cull non-viable chicks from viable chicks. Must be willing to work flexible hours and willing to work most holidays. Must be willing to rotate jobs.
