Description The Department of Biology and Environmental Science at the University of New Haven invites applications for a Lecturer or Assistant Professor position beginning August 2024. The Department seeks to hire an experienced educator with a strong background in biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, or related fields. This position will play a key role in the instruction and organization of our upper-division Biochemistry lecture and laboratory courses, which serves students from a variety of majors including Biology, Genetics & Biotechnology, Forensic Science, and Biochemistry. The successful candidate will also have expertise in engaging first year science majors in introductory biology coursework and will contribute to instruction in these important foundational courses, which serve all majors in the Department of Biology and Environmental Science along with students in the Biochemistry, Forensic Science, Medical Lab Science, and Health Science programs. There is also an opportunity to teach and develop courses on topics related to the successful applicant’s area of expertise.
