Are you looking for the best seat in the house—specifically, the one overlooking the pool? The Fitness and Recreation Center (FRC) is looking for energetic, safety-minded individuals to join our team as Per Diem Lifeguards . Whether you're looking to help our community stay active or just want a job where the "office" view is always crystal clear, we want to hear from you. Rate of pay: $20/hr: Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Your main mission is simple: keep our swimmers safe and the vibes positive. You won't just be sitting in a chair; you’ll be an essential part of the FRC team by: - Safety & Surveillance: Continuously scan the aquatic facility, refraining from socializing while on duty to ensure patron safety. - Rule Enforcement: Communicate and enforce all policies and rules in a personable and professional manner. - Emergency Response: Provide necessary care in any emergency and respond immediately to unsafe conditions on the pool deck. - Facility Operations: Conduct pool inspections, complete chemical tests, and record all findings. - Opening/Closing: Perform necessary facility opening and closing procedures for scheduled shifts. - Maintenance: Complete assigned cleani...
