Job description

Summary This Research Nurse position is within Office of Clinical Research (OCR), which provides centralized support to Investigators who conduct studies at Baylor College of Medicine and/or affiliated hospitals. Responsible for patient care in a clinical research setting, including obtaining vital signs, performing ECGs, starting IV lines, collecting and processing specimens, administering medications, and monitoring patients. Duties also include maintaining accurate records, ensuring protocol compliance, and performing additional procedures as required per protocol. The candidate selected for this position may occasionally requires to work after-hours, weekends, and overnight. In addition, we are looking candidate who can travel between Baylor College of Medicine and affiliated hospitals within Houston Texas Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel between study site locations, the ability to work flexible hours, the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and detail-oriented care.
