JOB SUMMARY: The Assembler will join our company. As part of our team of, you produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. You follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes. You are responsible for the quality of your output. This role will be based in our Accident, MD office reporting to the Production Supervisor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment. - Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. - Positions or aligns components and parts, manually or with hoists. - Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts. - Conducts quality control checks. - Prepares work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. - Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. - Fits and assembles gears, sprockets, drive shafts, bearings, etc. - Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies. - Verifies specifications by measuring completed component. - Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifi...
