Description The Department of Urology at Tulane University School of Medicine, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible urologic oncologist to join our full-time faculty. Our department operates as a tertiary care practice located in downtown New Orleans and adjacent Metairie. Purpose: The purpose of this recruitment is to expand our urologic oncology practice, facilitate clinical trials in urologic oncology, support the educational needs of our residents, and maintain competitiveness in the New Orleans market for the management of urologic oncology patients. Position Overview: The faculty member will have an appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine. The position involves clinical practice at University Medical Center (Downtown New Orleans) and East Jefferson Hospital (in the nearby suburb of Metairie). The candidate is expected to have expertise in urologic oncology and the ability to perform complex open and minimally invasive (i.e., robotic) surgical procedures for patients diagnosed with genitourinary malignancy.
