What You'll Be Doing Job Summary: The Estimator will be responsible for preparing complete, accurate estimates for all onsite changes and pricing requests. Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Works directly under the Project Manager and/or Senior Estimator and is responsible for helping ensure the project is successful. Review plans, specifications and other drawings, as updated, for changes. Provide accurate take-offs: Work with the estimating and project teams to build estimates and pricing. Develop preliminary schedules for changes. Ideal Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred and/or a minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience with steel erection or industrial millwright. Must be detail oriented and familiar with systems both manual and electronic. Must have excellent oral/written communication skills. Must be mathematically and computer literate. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Project/Primavera P6. Physical Requirements: Overtime is required as needed. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on occasion.
