Resort Facilities Maintenance Engineer – Carpenter (Hourly) Job Summary: Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join the Facilities Maintenance Engineering team. This role is responsible for the construction, repair, and preventative maintenance of buildings, guest areas, outlets, and common spaces across the resort. The Carpenter ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes, policies, and standards. Essential Job Functions: Carpentry and Construction: - Construct, install, and repair structural and finish carpentry elements using wood, plywood, drywall, wallboard, and related materials. - Perform framing, drywall installation, sanding, trim work, cabinetry, counters, partitions, ceilings, floors, doors, baseboard, hardware, locksets, hinges, and door closers. - Execute finish carpentry with attention to detail and quality standards. - Perform demolition of walls, ceilings, cabinets, and related structures as required for renovation or repair projects. - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
